Montessori Elementary Education recognizes elementary-aged children’s growing powers of reason and imagination, their moral and social development, and their drive to work in groups. Montessori observed in children age 6-12 an intense curiosity and thirst for knowledge.

Indiana Montessori Academy’s Elementary Program provides a Cosmic Education for first through sixth grade.  Using Dr. Montessori’s materials and approach, students are provided individualized opportunities for growth and challenge.   The Cosmic Education offers an integrated approach toward all subjects, nurturing the “whole child”.   Children explore and work with a diverse curriculum of:
